Wow! Of course the day I forget to check DeviantART is the day I receive my first Daily Deviation! Thank you so much to `mintyy for suggesting it and to ^Thiefoworld for featuring it! I am honored.

I will be getting to all of the comments, but until then, thanks to everyone who's left one since I got the DD. I really appreciate it!

I just launched my new online store, which you can find here.

Right now I have prints and some March of the Monster buttons available and more coming soon!
If you'd like to see some of my process work for my art, follow me on twitter at @mattkaufenberg. I post a lot of progress shots via instagram (mjkaufenberg) that i don't share here.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas season and a happy New Year!

I'm currently doing a new illustration-a-day project over at my blog: [link] . It's going to be a random character each day.

For some reason deviant's upload isn't working for me so i can't upload here at the moment but if you head over to my blog you can check them all out there!
Until further notice i won't be taking any more sketch card commissions. I've been getting a lot of emails inquiring about sketch cards so i just wanted to post that here for everyone to see. Work has kept me extremely busy over the past 3 months which i why i haven't posted much and i just don't have the time for sketch cards right now.

They might come back in the future, they might not...we'll have to see.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

-Matt
I've decided to sell a bunch of sketch cards i did awhile back for only $5 plus $3 shipping. You can view all of the available cards over at my blog here: [link]

ALSO:
From now until Sunday you can get free shipping on my Meanies of the Universe and Cobra the Enemy Prints available at my store, stuntmanstudios.bigcartel.com. That's 8 different prints for just $15 each! If you're interested, here are the links: [link] [link]
The sketch card commission sale went great and thanks to everyone who got one! You can still order regular priced commissions through my store as well as prints. Here's the link: [link]

Update: I still have spots open so if you're interested in getting a sketch card commission for only $13 (includes shipping to the US) go here: [link]

See below for more info.

Well we just moved to a new place and things are a little tight (especially since my computer decided to stop working correctly) so i'm offering another sketchcard sale over at my big cartel store: [link]

You can request ANY character as long as you keep it PG rated (maybe PG-13;)). Please make sure to include who you'd like me to draw when you checkout through paypal.

Also, i'm offering a free sketchcard if you buy 3 or more of my prints.

Here's the link to my store: [link]
My online store ([link] is now up and running and i have a bunch of prints available from my gallery! Want a Cap'n Crunch battling the evil Soqqy Squid? He's there. How about a sad Skeletor and that meanie Hordak? They're there too. All of my Meanies of the Universe and Cobra the Enemy prints are available and I also have my Popeye and Bluto prints on there. There's also a one-of-a-kind monster plushie from my March of the Monsters 2011 series made by my lovely wife. Head on over to the store if you're interested: [link]

I will be adding more prints in the future (including framed ones) as well as March of the Monsters buttons (which were a big hit at SpringCon). Look for the button sets fairly soon.

Also, if you could help spread the word i would really appreciate it!

Thanks!
Matt

Hey everyone, i'm super excited to be able to share a collaboration that i did with my buddy Chris Lee ~TheBeastIsBack! We both share a love for the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures so we decided to each do a character based on one of those. I took Ace Duck and Chris chose Slash (we wanted to do some of the more obscure figures).

It's now available at The Beast Shoppe so if you'd like to order a print, head on over there: [link]

Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!

Here's the info for the gallery:

"The next C3 SCA 'Artist Showcase' is Saturday, March 26th!  Doors open at 7:30 PM at NohoPAC, located at 11020 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood.

Performances from local bands Skyline, David Diaz & the Proclamation, improv comedy from Monkey Butler, C3 Dancers, and the wonderful artwork of Matt Kaufenberg - all hosted by the talented comedian Shaun Roberts!

Attendance is free, BUT there is a suggested donation of $5 to support the School of Creative Arts."

If you make it out there be sure to take some pics! I'd love to see how it goes.

*End update*

I should have done this two weeks ago but if you don't already know, I've started another month of monsters over at my blog. For the entire month of march i draw a monster a day.

What's really cool is that if you're in the L.A. area, you can see all 31 of them a bit early. On March 26 they're going to be showing at the School of Creative Arts (SCA) gallery [link] . I was planning on making the trek out there for opening night but sadly, due to finances it just didn't work out. I think i will be doing a short Q&A over skype so that will be fun.

Anyway, head on over to my blog and check them out: [link] and i'll update this with more info about the gallery soon.

Tonight is the opening for the John Hughes tribute show [link], The Road to Shermer, at Gallery1988 Venice! This will be my first time contributing to Gallery1988 so i'm pretty stoked.

I won't be attending the show (i'm in Minnesota) but if you're in the area come check out some awesome artwork by a bunch of great artists! Click on the link for more info. I picked National Lampoon's Vacation for my piece so look for a painting of Clark Griswold!

And I'll post the piece soon.
